Happy Monday! It’s the week to celebrate Thanksgiving! A busy week in deed, but today I am sharing 3 Must haves for celebrating Thanksgiving. I find the holidays present challenges and surprises that we all need help with. The stress of decorating, cooking food for so many people, and entertaining those can be challenging. However, I have 3 must haves for celebrating Thanksgiving to help eliminate some of the challenges.
1| Copper Silverware/Glasses
Copper is such an elegant nod to this season and hints of copper is perfect for your table decor. Copper can easily be found online, but here’s a set of Copper Silverware that’s dishwasher safe. That’s even better, because Dishes that are dishwasher safe are a must for any larger dinner. If you are unable to find Copper silverware in time, then try Moscow mule mugs for the next tip below.
2| Olde Tradition Spice: Hot Apple Cider
Hot Apple cider is a staple in my home during this time of year. This particular cider not only smells amazing, but tastes amazing. Make this ahead the day of and by the time guests arrive your home will smell festive and it gives your guests a hot drink to enjoy before dinner. If you serve this drink, I have no doubts your guest will be asking you for the recipe. Simply steep mulling spice bag in gallon of Apple juice to make the most delicious Hot Apple Cider. Serve the cider in Moscow Mule mugs for the added copper.
3| Make a Charcuterie Board
Making a Charcuterie Board for your guests to snack on while you finish the last touches is a great way to keep your guest happy and entertained. Making a Charcuterie Board is actually quite simply but is very impressive for guests. I’ve created a Charcuterie Board for several occasions and honestly it’s what guests walk away talking about.
