Happy Friday! Especially to those are are as confused as me as to what day it is, because you are working from home and can’t seem to remember. Let’s face it, time is pretty much a wash right now. I’ve been working from home since the last week in March and plan to continue to for the next few weeks. Even though the Governor has lifted some of the stay at home regulations, in my county the number of cases are continuing to climb. The virus didn’t really set in till mid-april in my community, but it’s now taking a strong hold. I hope you are staying healthy and taking all precautions to not get this virus.

My weekend wishes are more like weekend plans and positive thinking. It’s positive thinking and planning that are upmost importance to have a successful weekend. I truly feel during this stressful time it’s important to set goals like these and stay positive. Interested in my weekend plans? Then just keep reading!
1|Cleaning the house like a Boss. Literally one issue that I have discovered is working from home without a designated office space creates quite the mess. My kitchen table finds itself covered with laptops, calculators, paperwork, planners, iPads, etc. It’s a revolving problem as to even eat a meal at the table it pretty much has to be cleared off. Am I the only one experiencing this? I just feel that with extra trash, extra food stocked up, and extra dirty dishes a mess is right around the corner. So my hope for this weekend is to create peace in my mind and home by cleaning and organizing everything. Here’s some music to get you through the cleaning!
2|Laundry is a must! I find I just don’t have enough “down-time” clothing. One only has so many sets of pajamas. Literally I know I am not the only one struggling with this. I have tons of work clothes, but hardly comfy clothes to work from home. I also find I need to fold more clothes that need to be washed as I am very behind on that. Searching a clothes basket for clothes is just not a fun time. I hope that I can accomplish getting laundry in order by as much as possible this weekend.
3|Meal planning is a must during this time. I find with grocery store shortages and not eating out I am having to be very creative with cooking. Cooking 1 time a day to now 3 meals a day has become quite the change. It requires smart thinking and resourcefulness. I have recently found this meal planner that is also a digital recipe book to use on my iPad. I really am obsessed with this version in particular. It even comes with a conversion table with comes in super handy. I find I am always having to Google a measurement conversation and now it’s super handy to just open another tab within the planner. Make sure you check this out! I truly hope I am able to plan a healthy and delicious meal this week. It definitely will include Taco Tuesday with homemade guacamole!
What are you planning to get done this weekend? Are you coping well during this epidemic? Any tips for working from home, managing laundry or meal planning? Please know my thoughts and prayers are with all of you experiencing difficulty during this time. I know this is a scary time for all and very financially stressful.
