Happy Friday! It’s finally sunny in south Georgia and I have big plans for the weekend. My weekend wishes are more like weekend plans and positive thinking. It’s positive thinking and planning that are upmost importance to have a successful weekend. Interested in my weekend plans? Then just keep reading!

1|Visiting my local plant nursery to find new trees and flowers. I normally plant herbs, and flowers. However, I do have a organic lemon tree that’s wonderful. I love having organic fruit and really want to try my hand at planting a diversified fruit plant orchard. I also want to pick up some fresh herbs, because you can’t go wrong with Mojitos in the hot days in the south. It’s suppose to be in the 80s by the weekend here.
2|Avoiding going into town at all costs is absolutely on the top of my list. You see we have a annual yard sale called Peaches to the Beaches, that runs from the Top of Georgia to the coast of Georgia that attracts a crazy amount of people. Traffic is going to be insane as our roads are not meant for that many people. Half of the danger comes from drivers looking at what vendors have in their booths, instead of paying attention to the road. Needless to say I will be taking every back-road possible to get to where I need to go.
3|Sleep will also be on my list. I am not just adjusting well to this time change. Loosing an hour each day of sleep has been quite dreadful. Pollen is playing a part in this as well as it seems to be raining down more than rain these days. It’s coating everything and everyone. I find myself more tired dealing with allergies. I worked way too many hours last week. As a result, I am still trying to catch up on rest.
4|Cleaning the yard seems to be a necessity as well. All the rain and wind washed up debris that needs to be removed. The lovely dogs also decided to drag up all sorts of trash, that also need to be disposed of soon. We are in a rush to get the exterior look as well as the interior of the house, as a result of Spring quickly approaching.
What are you planning to get done this week? Are you adjusting to the time change well? Are you planting anything new? I would love to know what you love to plant in your yard and garden. Please leave suggestions in the comments below. Have a great weekend!
