Happy Monday! How was the weekend? My weekend seemed shorter than normal. I have been preparing for a work event for months. This Forestry event took place Friday and Saturday. Basically this means working 6 days and taking Sunday to get my life together. Well if you would like to see my weekend shenanigans just keep reading!

Friday| I have not had a more frustrating time trying to get to work and home. Since we have received so much rain we are dealing with major flood issues. Road are completely washed out and schools have been closed for days. It’s like a safari adventure trying to make it in to work. Thank goodness I have a Tahoe that can make it through some of the rough spaces. However, you know it’s bad when you see a rather large bass fish swimming across the road. Seriously, you can’t make this stuff up! I spent my day at work getting things ready for my customers attending the event on Saturday. Finally, when I got home Friday night I watched “Fire in the House,” which was the comic relief that I really needed.
Saturday|It was windy and just plain cold. I had to get up super early to drive to the Forestry event. For those that don’t know I am a Forestry Insurance Specialist and large supporter of the Forestry Industry. It was great to see so many of my friends in the industry and customers. There were so many interesting activities as well like the loader competition. Which I warned my customers would be very difficult. The tree is cut into uneven sections and the loader operator has to reassemble the sections. It’s very tricky. After the event I went to lunch at Olive Garden with a few customers and of course mom, then did some major damage at Hobby Lobby.
Sunday|Time springs forward apparently. I woke up feeling so rested after a long week to find I slept in. It was one of those situations that you double blink at the clock. After I dragged myself out of bed, I made some coffee and started working on blog posts and my planner for the next week. I am still using my Erin Condren for now as my main planner. I enjoy planning with stickers, but not sure if I want to go back to a B6 format. After that I made some homemade pizza for family Sunday lunch and worked on some Laundry. The day was a pretty easy one which I did plan as I knew my mind and body needed a break from the crazy week. Sunday night I caught up on more episodes of Home Town and went to bed around 11pm. I always spend Sunday’s prepping for the work week such as laundry, plans, planning out account updates, etc.
Well that’s that all for this post! What did you do this weekending? Did you get into any Shenanigans? Leave a comment below! I would love to read all about your weekend!
