Happy Monday! Welcome back for another week closer to the Holiday season. I for one can’t believe time is ticking down so fast. It seems that the weeks are dwindling faster and faster until Christmas. I don’t about you guys, but I am so ready to start decorating for Christmas!
Friday| I raced home after work to see the progress the contractors had made to my parent’s house. I’ve been helping them renovate the house for the past few years and finally I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. After a month of waiting for the tub installation, it finally was ready for use. Hopefully next week the tile will be installed into the shower, putting us one more step into finishing this project. To my great delight the tub was finished and I was able to test it. I spent the rest of the night relaxing to Hallmark Christmas movie marathon and chatting with my blog bff Christine. Saturday|Fall/Winter weather had set into Georgia. I am finally getting to light up the fireplace to take the chill off the room. I also worked on finishing some touch up paint on the dining room chairs. Also, If you look around you will definitely notice a change. I have a whole new blog design. Please be patient as I tweak a few things to settle in the new design. I have to say I am loving the fresh look, aren’t you?
Sunday|Moving Furniture especially when it’s really old is super difficult. That means bulky and super heavy. Thank goodness for all the sliders. I am so tired of moving furniture already. Granted hearing contractors and family give so many compliments on them is a great feeling. I truly don’t see an end to my obsession with Finder’s Keepers Furniture. I posted on Instagram last week showing 3 boxes full of Christmas decor arrived from my recent order on their online store.
Also, no Sunday goes without laundry time and planning. I am so behind on both of them. Lately it’s been a big struggle keeping up with everything. I find between a wedding(not mine) I am planning that is in 3 weeks, to house reno and finally to work it’s been a bit insane. So as I worked on laundry I sipped the best hot chocolate ever. Seriously this stuff is my jam!
