Happy Monday! Today is ugh..Monday right? I mean what happened to the weekend, because it sure flew by. Then again, doesn’t it always? Anyways, I didn’t have an epic weekend, but I did treat myself after a long week. I finally left the office Friday around 8pm and after such a long day wine night transpired.

On Saturday I decided to sleep late as I found after drinking Friday night to celebrate the end of shark week that my body needed a bit more recuperation. This week hosted an epic shark week yet again. Having a wine night was truly deserved as well, after having such a hectic week. In my opinion a glass of wine helps me wind down after a crazy week.
Saturday morning I started thinking I need to do another clean out of makeup. Over the past few month I have cut my collection in half. I have donated tons and toss a ton of old products. I really wanted to clean my vanity, which I should have known would have opened Pandora’s box. It was definitely a preemptive strike. After putting everything way and cleaning the top, I started to see I needed to cull through more as I found so many more products that I needed to purge. Nothing quite hits you like when you trash over $1,000 worth of makeup. It’s a true eyeopening experience.
After I cleared out all the makeup products and set aside some for a friend, it was time to plan the month of August and plan next week. Planning is a therapeutic process that I look forward to weekly. If you love floral & foiled stickers, I really recommend checking out Nikki Plus Three’s shop on etsy!
So after planning next week and tossing makeup, in I binged watched cleaning videos as I cleaned a few rooms from top to bottom. I find that Amy Darley & This Crazy Life on YouTube have the best cleaning motivation out there. If you are into cleaning videos, I highly recommend you check the out. After all the cleaning, I was completely exhausted and decided to turn in for the night while watching a bit of Hallmark, which was a break from sharks.
Sunday presented itself as usual, a total hectic day. Usually about 11am on Sunday morning a light clicks on that the weekend is almost over and it’s time to finish everything to prepare for the work week. I threw myself into laundry and making sure I had clean clothes to wear for tomorrow. I did surprisingly chat with one of my Sorority little sisters which reminded me how I do miss her along with a few other people.
Sunday afternoon was very exciting. I worked on scheduling my new few weeks of Hello Fresh and placed my first order with Daily Harvest. Have any of you tried Daily Harvest? I know I have come to love Hello Fresh and am excited to try a few more subscription services. Sunday afternoon is full of some of my favorite TV shows. Both the Good Witch and Southern Charm New Orleans didn’t disappoint.
So how was the weekend? Do anything interesting? Have you tried Hello Fresh or Daily Harvest? Have a fantastic week!
