Occasionally more than it should I watch YouTube videos of people like Tanya Burr and I got on a bit of a makeup-shopping adventure. Hence this MAC Cosmetics haul. Yes this haul was inspired by the want need for this single eye shadow. However, I find occasionally within these hauls I find some great products that become a staple in my daily makeup routine. I did pick up some restocks that I have loved for years.
Now onto the shadow that brought on this entire shopping trip, presenting Deep Truth. Deep Truth is this gorgeous cobalt blue shimmer eye shadow. It’s a very unique shadow. It’s not just simply blue it has components that lean light and dark blue. Depending on what base you use you can alter the shade of blue. This shadow is super buttery and I simply adore it.
Next has to be the most interesting shadows I have ever seen. These are the Spellbinder shadows in the shade Dynamically Charged, Mysterious Influence, and Higher Power. What makes these so interesting? Well there is a magnet in the bottom of jar that keeps the shadows in a pattern. You can scoop some out then place the jar over product and it will literally suck it back into the jar and into the pattern. It is seriously the most interesting product. These are technically loose pigments but I find them to be so much easier to work with. I hate the mess normal loose pigments make and this product is fool proof. Check out some swatches!
- Higher Power Rich deep brown
- Dynamically Charged Taupey cool toned bronze
- Mysterious Influence Rich olive golden green
MAC Dynamically Charged Spellbinder Shadow
MAC Higher Power Spellbinder Shadow
MAC Mysterious Influence Spellbinder Shadow
Each of them are unique in color. This formula is so interesting and I think more brands should take notice of the magnetized idea. It’s purely genius! What have you picked up from MAC lately? I simply love MAC Cosmetics and can’t recommend these products enough.
