Most of you probably buy Holiday cards right? Well what if I told you that you could easily make that special someone the perfect holiday card? You truly can create the most magical card within a few clicks with the All Purpose Vectors Supply Kit from DesignCuts. Most of you that follow my blog probably already know that I depend on DesignCuts for a ton of post images and fonts. I love taking bits and pieces of beautiful things and making them my own. When I saw Lisa Glanz’s Holiday & Christmas and Noel Christmas Collection I truly fell in love with the vectors and knew I had found what I needed to make the perfect Christmas card! If you are looking for vectors to make your Christmas card then look no further.
Creating your own card is simple and truly is a matter of layer. If you have a program like Photoshop then you can really amp up your customization. However, even using a free program like Picmonkey it is possible to create a wonderful card. In fact, I will quickly walk you through how to do this with a few photos. But first let’s take a look at this amazing bundle!

Regardless of what you are looking, for this bundle has a bit of it all and goes far beyond that of holiday elements. Seriously the bundle has endless Patterns, Textures, Elements, etc. You can spend hours playing around with this bundle creating a multitude of projects. It’s why I truly feel this is a must have! Now let’s take a look at what I created. As you can see I played around with a few overlays for texture until I found what I felt was the perfect one.
Start with a white 5×7 canvas and pick a color that would complement your card. I love pairing shades of green with pinks and reds so it didn’t take me long to find the perfect custom shade for the background. Next, open jpeg and png images into Photoshop, copy and paste them onto your card. One by one add them until you’re satisfied with the end product. It takes a bit of playing around with images to make the perfect design but by no means do you need to have professional graphic design skills. Using these pre-made vectors, you can easily make holiday cards that look like they were made by a graphic designer within just a few clicks.
In regards to this particular design, the only thing I had to manipulate was the string of Christmas lights. With the Magic Wand tool on Photoshop CC, within a few clicks I was able to make the background clear and added it as another layer onto my card. You see? Not so difficult right?
Are you ready to see what I created? I used two fonts that I purchased online. “We Wish You A” is Lonssa Regular and “Merry Christmas” is Madina Script Regular both in the color RGB 121,18,39. Now with the hard easy part over all you do is print it on card paper.
I will note the green does pop a bit more when you save the card as a jpg. I notice this is common with different formats. Regardless I truly love this card and can’t wait to send it out to some of my family members at Christmas! For the inside I will use a Holiday quote and write a special note. Beautiful right?
This project came just in time as my mom asked me to create her annual Christmas card. You can literally create this and more with just a few clicks with the All Purpose Vector Supply Kit.
