Happy Friday! How has the week been for you? It’s been crazy as usual here but I am super excited for the weekend! Let’s talk makeup! When new makeup launches my interest gets peaked once in a while. I have a rather large collection and really don’t need any more makeup. However, you can really never have enough right? As I know am saving more and putting makeup money towards house savings, I don’t buy nearly as much as I use to. Some products come up that I feel are worth makeup budget money. I am a great fan of the Lorac Pro line. The Lorac Pro 1 is one of my most used palettes to this day, but I am not so much a fan of the Pro 2 palette. I just don’t like the color tones near as much in the 2nd one. When I saw sneak peaks of the 3rd the colors really intrigued me. Being a platinum member at ULTA did allow me to purchase this ahead of it’s full release. Enough of the background of why I purchased this palette, are you ready to see some swatches of the LORAC PRO 3 Palette ?
Overall the design of the palette is the same as the previous palettes in this line. The texture holds up to the standard of Lorac palettes. However, as with these shadows you really need tap your brushes off due to the amount of fall out you can get with these shadows. These are super soft shadows, which is why they have so much fall out. These buttery shades are among the best in terms of pigmentation, blending, color and texture of all the Lorac shadows.
I love all of the shimmer shades and as usual they stand out more so that the matte shades. They already have a foiled look, but spritzing your flat eye shadow brush with Mac fix+ will intensify these shadows even further. These shadows hold their integrity when blending together, instead of becoming a monotone mess. My only criticism is that some of the lighter shades look a bit similar on my medium tone skin.
However, after using this LORAC ‘PRO 3’ Palette • LORAC • $44
” target=”_blank”>palette over the past few weeks I have grown to really love this palette. The texture and shades make it a must have for me. I recommend if you get the chance to go to ULTA that you at least swatch this palette. Have you tried it? Love it as much as I do? Have a great weekend!
