Thanks to Influenster for sending me the L’Oreal Cleansing Balm to review. All thoughts expressed are 100% my own.
Hair talk. Yes the dread of a hair disaster I face living in the South. I have curly/wavy thick fine hair that struggles to not frizz up and to stay straight. This is a daily battle for me, and having hair that is half way down my back doesn’t help. I depend on deep conditioners most the time to help keep my hair looking healthy and manageable.
L’Oreal Cleansing Balm EverCurl is 6 in 1 Sulfate free cleansing balm. This is as described a cleansing conditioner. It is meant to be an all in one that will not strip your hair and is low lather.
The 6 in 1 includes:
-Cleanse
-Treat
-Soften
-Condition
-Detangle
-Shine
Does this work? What are the pros & cons? Does it really do all that it claims?
In short, yes it works and holds up to claims. However, it is really hard to get out of my hair. It doesn’t lather very much and clings to my hair. I think it does a really great job of treating, softening, conditioning, detangling and adding shine. Does it cleanse my hair? Yes, but as someone that like a more lathering shampoo, it doesn’t make my hair feel as clean as I would like. However, as someone that often is in a hurry, I don’t recommend using this when you are in a rush. Reason being, this is harder to get out of your hair. However, it really does work and I find it great to incorporate a few times a week. It makes my hair ridiculously soft and adds tons of shine.
Overall, I really do love this product. I think it really helps maintain my hair on a weekly basis. If you are one that likes instant gratification, then you will love this one. I love that after use I am able to see immediate results. I find I get the most compliments on my hair on days when I use this product. I think if you face similar struggles with your hair as I do, then you should definitely check it out.
