Happy February! Yes, it’s almost Valentine’s Day, and you are just seeing my January favorites. What can I say, other than life has been crazy? Anyways, moving forward here are my January favorites!
Maybelline Vivid Matte Liquid Lipstick #5 Nude Thrill
This has been my “one and done” lippie for the month of January and even into February. I will say the name of this product ,Matte, is very misleading. This product is not matte what so ever. Even when it dries down it is not completely matte. This formula is a very creamy one and that is the reason I love it. I love finding a great lipstick from the drugstore.
NudeStix Lash Lengthening Mascara in Black
I received this in my Lucky Bag 2016. I am very picky when it comes to mascara and rarely find mascaras that live up to my Chanel le volume de Chanel mascara that I truly love. However, after trying this one I really like it. In the beginning it was a little too wet for my taste, but as it has dried out some I have began to love it. By the end of January I found myself using this every day! I love how buildable, black and lengthening this mascara is on my lashes. If you are on the hunt for a new mascara, then I suggest this one.
Ardency Inn Modster Smooth Ride Supercharged Eyeliner in Black
This is the blackest eyeliner that I have ever used. I use this primarily for my water liner, but find it is creamy enough to smudge out on the top lash liner. I love how using this product takes my look up a notch. This liner is sold out a ton on Sephora, so if you get a chance to grab it, I suggest you do.
Benefit The Porefessional Matte Rescue
This is a new product from Benefit geared to aid in battling oil. As an oily girl, time this launched I knew I had to try it. I use this product as a moisturizer & primer for my face. I find this product does not overly dry out my skin and it enables me the ability to wear foundations I normally could not wear. Which brings be to my final favorite of January.
L’oreal True Match Lumi Cushion foundation
This foundation is one I have typically stayed away from in the past. However, with the help of the new Benefit product I can use it. I will say something in this formula is different that then original version. It smells and feels different. I find using a beauty blender works great at amping up the luminous glow. However, if you use a brush it does not come out nearly as luminous. The claim that this foundation is buildable and luminous is true. This product is really the price of a high-end foundation, which is rather disturbing. It contains .51 oz of product and costs around $16.99. Now take that price and double it and the product size, which is what you typically pay for a high-end 1 oz foundation. I suggest searching for coupons to try this one out.
