The Kat Von D Mi Vida Loca Palette launched in the last part of 2015 and is currently sold out on Sephora. However, there are sites that you may can find it so I figured it was not too late to share my opinion of it. Your own Sephora may even still have one of these. When I look at it I see a pure wheel of color. It almost looks like the rainbow of a beauty lover. Yes, this palette tests my limits and is not one I will use everyday. When I first looked at this palette I saw Halloween tutorials and more editorial makeup. Nothing that you could wear on the daily. So-why did I buy it? Well that is pretty simple, but first let’s take a look at some swatches.

This was the hardest palette to take pictures of. My very nice camera had a hard time focusing on the palette. I have listed the names as best as I can below each picture. I did notice that when I was counting the shades I missed swatching Legend. Not sure what happened, but I apologize about this. However, take my thoughts on this shade. Legend did not disappoint what so ever and is a soft yellow gold that is somewhat metallic.
This palette encompasses some very neutral shades, but also some pops of color. This palette is actually really wearable. There are of course shades that are rather daring, but some are truly easy to wear and gorgeous. Viynl was probably the only shade that I was disappointed in, which is pretty good considering the quality of the other shades. This color is just too sheer in my opinion. The rest of the shades are simply gorgeous!
I think this palette is amazing to have in your collection for the days when you want a pop of color! Let’s talk about REWIND for a minute. This shade is absolutely amazing! I think it is so unique and I simply can’t get enough of it. This is exactly why I bought this palette. Though some colors look a bit scary, they really can be used to achieve the most gorgeous makeup. If you are able to get your hands on this palette, then you are a lucky girl. There are tons of makeup tutorials on YouTube you can look it to use as inspiration for this palette. If you did get it,I would love to know your thoughts?
