I admit I am such a sucker for cute mugs and any kind of swap. What prompted this is all based on my love of coffee. I do enjoy drinking coffee throughout the year, but this time of year especially I love drinking hot lemon flavored tea and other speciality tea. The closer to Christmas it gets I even get a bit spunky and try some hot apple cider. This all of course is consumed as I listen so Christmas playlist on YouTube and replay the Pentatonix Christmas Album over and over. This ritual doesn’t get old what so ever, and is something I rather enjoy.
About a month ago I signed up for a mug swap in a blog group I am part of. I felt this was the perfect fit for me since I am quite the collector for coffee cups. I truly enjoy unique cups. The trick with this swap is that it is all a secret santa program. Even though I have received my gorgeous coffee mug, I don’t have a clue who sent it quite yet. Whoever you are, I thank you for gifting me the most gorgeous mug I have ever seen. Wondering why I feel so strongly about this, well just take a look for yourself.
See what I mean? I can’t tell you how I squealed in delight when I unwrapped it from massive amounts of protective tissue paper. The gold leaves are raised up and make a spectacular addition to this already gorgeous mug. Though it looks like it would weigh as much as a gold bar, this mug is actually not that heavy and easy to hold.
Along with the mug, my Secret Santa sent me some chocolates, flower ring, and mini magnetic chalk board. I get so excited when opening packages like this, but even more excited when giving back to others. I made my parter a mug with my silhouette cameo II, however I can’t quite show you this due to it still being a secret. I definitely don’t want to ruin any surprises. Something so small as a Secret Santa mug swap can bring so much joy. This week has been rather taxing and receiving this mug made my week for sure.
