Humpday Confessions| Thanksgiving-Eve, Fixer Upper & More!

Happy Thanksgiving-Eve! Ready for Thanksgiving? Me, heck no! Well I am super excited about a few days off work to study and work on the house. Yes, we are painting in November, but that it what you can do when you live this far south. As some in the country are experiencing snow, we are having days with 60s-70s in temps. So we are able to do renovations on the house even into our so called winter. If those were not enough confessions/admissions then here are a few more!

I confess I was very upset when I received my ULTA package that contained this very smashed palette. I thought long and hard about which way to approach contacting ULTA. Before I have always sent them an email which took them days to respond. I was honestly dreading this whole process and looked for an alternative way to contact them. I thought about Twitter and decided it wouldn’t hurt to try contacting them in that way so they could see a picture of the shattered mirror. I was super surprised that within minutes I received a response from them wanting to help me. I honestly thought this may be a situation where responding make them look good, but nothing would be done. How wrong I was in this situation. All within 20 minutes I was sent an email and they had processed an order to reship me this palette. The whole reason I am stating my case is that the Customer Service on Twitter really impressed me, and if you have issues with ULTA I recommend tweeting them.

I confess we were able to paint the base color of our house with this new sprayer I bought in about 3 hours. We have a nice size house and this was seriously a life saver. Now we are painting the trim. Did I mention I despise painting? Well honestly the Wagner Flexio 990 has made it less of a headache. If you are looking to repaint anything I highly suggest that you check out this sprayer.

I confess I emailed Fixer Upper to get them to tell me what color they painted on some of their houses. They RESPONDED and told me that along with some of Johanna’s favorite colors. Needless to say with my obsession for this show I will be using this list to paint my house.

I confess the diet goes out the window with the holidays. I am so ready for some southern dishes that all the aunts will be making for Thanksgiving! Speaking of Thanksgiving, What are your plans?
