I admit I am a bit of a Wine-o per say. I love trying new wines and especially love finding new favorites to sip while reading a book or lounging by the pool. I admit that after a long day at work a glass of wine does the trick for relieving tension. However, I find I need great wine that my friends like to have a summer parties that’s where Kobrand Wines & Spirit comes in. When Kobrand offered to send me some wine to try, I had no idea that I would be finding the perfect wine for my summer party/summer night out with the girls. Kobrand imports wine from all over the world and has been family owned since founding in 1944. Did you know Quality is the key to a great wine?
Wine I believe sometimes can be an acquired taste. However, periodically I come across wine that is so tasty that pretty much anyone that at least likes fruit juice would love it. This is something I found to be the case with this line of wine & spirits. The great thing is that Kobrand has a great mix in their line. There literally is something that anyone will enjoy, even those with the most sophisticated palettes.
Moscato is by far my favorite wine in any brand. I love the sweet aroma that comes through with just one taste of this CAPOSALDO Moscato IGT. It’s like biting into some exotic fruit, which makes it easy to imagine you are sipping it on the beach. I personally found that I enjoyed this one chilled and served during a pool day with the girls.
Here’s a bit more about the flavors behind this wine, and also from where it was imported. Just imagine your own taste of Italy. I can tell you that this one is my absolute favorite Moscato from any brand. The CAPOSALDO Sweet Moscato is also super tasty. I love the sweetness that comes out in both of these. Sweet Moscato is of course more sweet that the first one I mentioned, however I found it not to be too sweet. Overall, this one had a truly nice blend of flavors that had me coming back from more than one glass.
CAPOSALDO Pinot Grigio Delle Venezie IGT is my next favorite and pick for summer. I find this wine pairs well with many different meals. In my opinion it is best served in the company of all of your “girlfriends” catching up on life will sitting by the fire after a day of laying out in the sun. I find Pinot Grigio to be a crowd favorite among my friends due to the complexity of flavor that is attractive to a wide range of palettes. If you are a fan of Pinot Grigio then this one is a must try for you! The lightness of this wine makes it perfect for summer.
CAPOSALDO Prosecco DOC rounds out my picks for Must Try Wines for Summer! This has the most distinctive flavor out of all the ones mentioned above. If you love the bubbles, then you will love this one! It hits you with bold brut-style wine flavor but fades away into a well-rounded taste for your mouth. This one was the most intriguing to me among them all. I will give you a heads up though. Open this one outside at a party or near a sink. The bubbles make the cork shoot off and the wine starts flowing. Its super fun to not only taste this one, but opening the bottle is quite the experience. Unique taste and the persistent bubbles make this one a Must Try for Summer!
Like what you see and wondering where you can find them? I was worried that I would find one of these, love it, and then find out later that I couldn’t get another bottle. It’s a sad thought indeed. However, Kobrand has a retail locator on their site which enables you to located a store close to you that sells any wine the sell. For instance, I was looking for another bottle of Mosacto and found through the Retail Locator that I can purchase it only 45 minutes away. Which this wine alone would completely be worth the drive! I am sure those that live in larger cities will find more stores that carry all of these. Click here to find where you can buy these!
Adding the perfect wine to a summer party can truly set the mood for a fun night. Regardless if this is a summer party or family dinner, any of these would make a spectacular addition. Which one interests you the most? Have you tried any of the other wines or spirits from Kobrand?
