Weekend up + Birthday Countdown!

Happy Monday! Let’s talk about the Weekend Shenanigans! Wow what a relaxing weekend I had this round. Mine weekend was super great that is except for the sunburn I got while vacuuming out our pool. The great news is that I came in before it got too serious, but it was bad enough to keep me inside the rest of the weekend. The BIRTHDAY countdown has officially commenced. The 14th of June will be here way too quick for me!

Have you ever heard of a horse fly? Well that is what we call this pesky bug here in the south, but basically it sucks majorly when they sting you. I apparently have developed an allergic reaction to this so Saturday when I was stung not once, but twice, it was not fun. Horse fly by butt, let the rumors that this only stings horses die my friends because this pesky bug will go after people too.

Dating a Farmer. Have any of you ever dated a farmer? I have friends that do, but this is something I never expected to do in my lifetime. Looking at the long list of what Farmer D is doing I am not sure how to do most of it, but growing up in the south I can say I’m game. Do pictures of newborn animals tug at your heart; well it does mine!

I have been seriously obsessed with Kelly Clarkson’s new song Heartbeat. Can I say that it completely represents my life? You know how some songs just resonate more with you than others? Well this song does this for me. Plus the song has such a great beat and well I will let you judge for yourself on this one.

Amazing right? See I knew it! I am one that listens to music all day long and I find it amazing that it can lift my mood so well. Well the countdown has started and I have got to get my crap together. I leave Friday morning for St. Augustine, FL to attend a work conference and I will be there till Sunday. Yet I find that just a few days before I don’t have a clue what to wear either days or nights. See my predicament. Yes, it is time for me to procure a few items to take with me to put together the perfect looks.

I wrapped my weekend up with a dose of Keeping up with the Kardashians. Any thoughts on Bruce? I’m glad Kylie finally disclosed she was getting lip injections. As a Makeup Artists I knew this because you can only over draw your lips so much. If it makes her feel better about herself them all I have to say is Do You Boo!
