*I was provided a copy of A Separate Heaven by the author, Alex Disanti, but all thoughts expressed are 100% my own.*
Reading is something I quite enjoy doing. In fact I read hundreds of books a year and spend most my free time before bed reading page beyond page out of some of the best books. Recently Alex Disanti gave me the opportunity to her fiction novel called A Separate Heaven. Here is a little about the book and author!
A Separate Heaven, Romantic, Suspenseful Fiction by Alex Disanti (Austin, TX) — Meet the enigmatic Dominic Gianelli, a man whose immense wealth and power have earned him respect and admiration from businessmen throughout Europe and America. But his legitimate wealth has been rumored to mask the secrets and dark corners of his world. Nearing 50 years of age, he lives by a strict code, tight security and allows few people to know Enter Paige Hamilton, a young, striking beauty; a financial prodigy and a trusted, successful analyst who is climbing the ladder of a prestigious New York investment firm. She is independent, yet innocent, striving to find her own place in the world away from her privileged background possessing its own dark secrets.
Witness the intertwining of these two dynamic characters, Dominic’s hesitation as he knows his world can be dangerous and fears for Paige’s safety if they were to join in long-term commitment. Despite his doubts, he finds he cannot give her up, dedicating himself to care for her and understand her, yet stunned when he learns of her past seeing that her life contains secrets as well.

My Thoughts:
This one had me “hook, line and sinker” from the start. I was able to read this on my way to a work convention. This is only book 1 of three. I have to say that Paige and Dominic’s relationship was intriguing from the start. I saw this as one that could be amazing due to how mysterious Dominic was and how young Paige was compared to Dominic. This book goes through the motions of them falling in love quickly and getting married. As expected with books that are in a series this one leaves you completely hanging. I know time I finished it I emailed Alex and told her I had to read the other two. Book 1 simply gets you ready for what Book 2 brings into the mix.
I find that Paige is a character that is able for other to relate to due to how strong of a woman she is and what she has endured. I’m not going to give anything away on what she has been through, but let’s just say that she had a very hard childhood. She simply found her prince charming in Dominic who was able to “take care of her.” I will say that this book has some 50 shades moments, but not anything to graphic. I could feel the love that Disanti conveyed through the characters of this book through the simple words on the pages. Intense love can really draw you in and so if you love a good love story, you will adore this one. This book drew me in so much that I felt that I was walking along side the characters in the book, which won me over completely.
Alex Disanti does an amazing job at producing a story line that draws you in. There is a love story with hidden mystery as this couple battles through more obstacles than the normal relationship. I highly recommend that you check this book out, but warning you will not be able to stop reading these because they are that amazing. Click here to get your own copy of A Separate Heaven.
