Although I am not a mother myself, I do have one amazing mother. We have a special relationship to be honest. We do work together and we work actually pretty well together with very minimal eye rolling. She makes me laugh so much and she is the epitome of a Southern Belle.
She works harder than she should. She makes constant sacrifices for our family, which I appreciate sincerely. I really never thought about how much my mom meant to me until recently and I realize how much I idolize my mom. We are so similar in some ways, but then again so different in many ways. As I grow older I strive to be more like her. She is such an amazing person and is one that deserves the world.
She is someone that has stuck by me and supported me through all the ups and downs in my life. She truly gets her amazing mother characteristics from her mother who was also an amazing woman/mother/wife as well. I just hope that one day I will see myself as amazing as I see my mother today. I’m not just partial because she is my mother, but she truly is a wonderful person inside and out. These are only a few reasons why my mother deserves the world in life. I could fill books and books of the good deeds and reasons why she is amazing. Regardless of her devotion to Christianity to her dedication as being a mother she continuously surprises me with how she can juggle life. Which from what I hear it is what mother’s do best!
This mother’s day I will be spending the day with my mom. Most Sundays are crazy busy, but we will be taking a few moments to show our love and appreciate to her for being such an amazing mother. What are you doing for your mother this weekend? To all the mothers out there…Happy Mother’s Day weekend!
