A Drink for the Single Ladies.. #ThurstyThursday

ONLY….2 more days left until Valentine’s Day. Enough said right? Have you had a bombardment of emails about fantastic annoying sales for Valentine’s Day? I know that I have and am quite tired of it. I mean we just had Christmas right? Well perhaps I wouldn’t be sick of this holiday if they had not started promoting it at Christmas. Retail stores these days shove holidays down our throats in my opinion and for those of us Single Ladies, it’s just another day to eat chocolate and throw a few back.

This leads me to today’s post. Who doesn’t loves shots of tequila? Well going back to college these always seem to be popular due to the instant relief of stress/pain/aggravation that comes from “throwing one back.”

It’s true that often this is the cause of a scary “stank face” that would rival some horror movies. Personally I love the quick method, which is why I prefer shots over drinks like beer. I’m not all about that life and tend to not have time to waste. I like tequila due to how you can incorporate it into food, games, etc. Patron is a handy item to have around the house. Yes, patron is technically not a drink recipe, but it historically has always been a great choice on Valentine’s day. Oh and as always just “Lick, Shoot, & Suck on a lime.”
