War Paint.

War paint is something I take very seriously. Wondering why I am talking about this when I am clearly not a soldier? Well I have you know I considered my makeup application daily an act of applying war paint. Yes, I simply conclude that my makeup is my war paint. Why I call it this? Well if you went into battle every day like me, which some may, you would refer to it as such as well.

I envision makeup as a strong barrier between me and the outside world that helps build thick skin. Maybe even as bug repellent for all the people bugging the heck out of me in my life. It’s true that there are challenges that we each face that we need some sort of empowerment to face. I find disingenuous individuals are plaguing the world and we as women need every defense possible against mendacious people and those looking to complicate our lives.

I feel that makeup gives gumption and helps you feel over all more apt to handle situations. If confidence is something you need then for goodness sake apply some. No judgment here, due to my love of all things beauty. Do you apply war paint in the mornings too? Have a great weekend!
