First of all, let me say that this blog has grown more than I ever could have dreamed. I started this two years ago just to maintain my sanity after moving back to a small town and it has become this blog “monster” and I say that due to the work it takes. Regardless I admit that I purely and fascinated with they way I am able to continuously drum up post ideas. I’m flabbergasted by the fact I am nearing 1000 posts. So enough of the shock, let’s get into goals and what I want to improve on in 2015.
As for goals & things I want to improve on….
– I want to work with more companies for sponsored posts in 2015. I worked with a ton in 2015, but I want this blog to keep advancing and this is only part of that.
-I want to promote my butt off on each post, which I plan to use Bufferapp & Hootsuite for.
-Acquire more paid sponsors. I feel I get a great number of sponsors, but I would like the ratio of paid sponsors to giveaways and ad swaps to lean more towards paid sponsorships. Not that I mind ad swaps, but I would like to monetize my blog more.
-Comment on more blogs. I find that my life is so busy that I often miss out on many amazing posts. I really want to be better organized to be able to swing commenting on more blogs.
-Being better organized is something that always finds its way to this list. Yes, it may seem repetitive, but then again is there every such as thing as being “too organized?”
-New blog design. I do love change and a fabulous new design is in the works for this blog. I have seem the beginning of it from Sara, who is designing it and I am ecstatic about it.
-Education. Surrounding myself with a bunch of smarties in blogland I realized this past year that I know very little and have tons to learn. I look forward to learning all I can this year.
-Filming more YouTube videos. I have a few up but I can’t wait to create more!
Thanks all that I can think of at the moment, but you know that goes. I am sure that more will come as the year goes along. I do know that one personal goal of mine to to loose weight and get back in shape.
What are your blogging and life goals for 2015?
