Lashes are something I like to be and bold. When I was recently given the opportunity to try the Younique Moonstruck 3D Fiber Lash Mascara. For someone that liked thick lashes this is a something I was super excited to try. There are so many fiber mascaras on the market, but I admit I have never been a fan on any of them. This is honestly the best fiber mascara on the market in my opinion. This mainly is due to I often find that the fibers hand off my lashes oddly.
I admit that this is no typical mascara and it takes a lot more steps to achieve, so if you are someone that is always in a hurry, I am not sure this is something for you. I feel you need to be super careful not to get the fibers into your eyes. There are about 10 steps to follow to applying the 3D Fiber Lash. Basically you have to apply a coat of the transplanting gel while avoiding getting close to the waterline to avoid eye irritation. Then apply a layer of the fibers and then you seal with with the transplanting gel, which will keep the fibers in place. I recommend applying the fibers a little at a time to avoid the spidery eye look. To comb out any clumps I used a drugstore mascara to comb them out.
The Fibers are 100% Natural and made from Green Tea Fibers. They are suppose to be able to lengthen lashes by 300%. Where I think this is pushing it a bit, I did see more volume than length. After playing around with this system a few days I was impressed. I do admit that I personally prefer to stick to my Chanel mascara, it is a one stop to get the same effect. I already have quite long lashes so the Younique Fiber mascara is not one I think is specifically geared towards me. An 8 week supply will cost you $29. I think this would be something fun to use for special occasions, and would keep you from having to apply false lashes. What I will say is the best part of this product is that you can take it from natural to super glam within just a few swipes!
If you are one that likes big, full lashes, but does not want to fool with the hassle of applying false lashes, then I highly suggest you check this out. If you would like to try this mascara then I recommend you head over to Redefine Your Beauty!
