Smooth as Butter

Normally when I talk about face primers I am super picky about them due to having oily skin. However, since I am such a huge fan of Vine Vera’s Vitamin C line of product, when I had the chance to try this I jumped on it. I did test this on myself and my mom, since our skin is on opposite ends of the spectrum. She has super dry skin and well I am most of the time a complete oil slick. Being a makeup artists and beauty enthusiast I have learned a few things about having moisturized skin that every oily skin girls need to know. A serum is often something that can make a huge difference if you are having skin issues. 

Having a great balance of moisturized skin is crucial to keeping your skin from over producing oil. This is something that as a teenager I did not realize. I wanted  to do everything I could do such as not moisturizing, to keep my skin as dry as possible to prevent an oil slick. However, what I was actually doing was making my skin over produce oil due to the lack of moisture. Adding a serum in ads to the barrier of moisture and helps prevent the oil slick from occurring.

Now I love using products that lay a moisturizing base and then add mattifying products on top. I find this helps keep my skin under control. I will be honest the first time I used the Resveratrol Vitamin C Serum, I put way too much on. I find it is a product that you can easily overdo so you need to use a very small amount of product to cover your entire face. This is actually a great thing, because it means that the amount of product will last you a long time.

I now use this product daily and I am loving the radiant appearance of my skin. What I find most interesting and beneficial about this line is that it is more of a skincare item than makeup, and it gives your skin some serious benefits. I seriously love how my foundation glides on my skin when I include this product in my skincare regiment.
