Happy Monday! Hope you had a great weekend! Today is Review Monday! I think reviewing a new product on Mondays is a great way to start the week. Talking about amazing makeup products to start the week sort of starts the week off right for me. Anyways today I have for you an amazing review!
A palette that often gets tons of great reviews is one that intrigues me oh so much is the Kat Von D Monarch palette has the most intriguing colors in it that I am often tempted to use a color from it every day. I picked this up a few weeks ago and have had the chance at this point to really play with it. I must say that this palette has the most interesting feeling shadows, being that they are ultra buttery and almost feel wet when you touch the shadows. This is not the case with all of them, but I do find it to be true for delaney and telepathy.
I love the design of this palette, especially that the shades are printed on the back and not on a flimsy insert in the palette. Kat Von D is famous for her intriguing tattoo designs, so it makes sense that those talents would translate well into the design of her palettes. The shadows in this palette are simply gorgeous, and I love how intriguing the shades are from this palette. Take a look at these shadows!
The composition of shadows in this palette is described as consisting of 3 textural bases with 9 transforming colors. This supports my description of the shades having a peculiar texture. I think this alone sets this palette a part from others on the market. I don’t see this as a stand alone palette, due to having to reach for a more blending shades for the crease. However, I feel the shades in this palette are so unique in shades and texture that this palette is a must have. The pigmentation of these shades are simply fantastic. If you are the market for a great palette, I highly recommend you check this one out!
