Lesson learned. I quit. Why did this happen? Don’t worry it’s after 5pm..somewhere!
Sometimes I look at myself in the mirror and say really, you are 25 and still screwing up! It never fails, I am always the one that jams the paper shredder, busts it on the dance floor, gets tongue tied, etc. The craziest thing happened last night. If have had the new Breyers Gelato then you may understand.
I am so addicted to the caramel flavor of Breyers Gelato just like this couple. This stuff is like the replacement of alcohol in this town due to I am actually able to buy it, where as because I live in a dry county alcohol is a big no no.
You see after hard days at work sometimes all I need is a scoop of this stuff to wind down. If you have ever had to open a container of this then you know sometimes it can be quite difficult. Rather than using my teeth to try to open the seal I chose to use in this case a weapon….. in the form of a butcher knife. Biggest mistake ever.
Don’t worry it was not like I had to go to the emergency room or anything. However, somehow the knife slide around the seal and went through my shirt into my imaginary abs. Oh yes I did bleed somewhat, but thank goodness I learned my lesson.
Apparently there is some truth to my mom’s warnings about “Not Running with Knives” in your hand, well in my case it is apparent that I also need to forevermore include “Holding Knives” in general.
I do have the worst luck sometimes, but back in my mind I realize it is 5pm somewhere I am having me a scoop of this gelato…and it was so worth getting stabbed. Well maybe not, but it is close to it. I guess this is something that happens to single girls after a long day in hell working.
Have you had this happen before, or am I the only dork in the world that runs into these situations? If you have not tried this Gelato then you have no clue what you’re missing!
