Happy Friday! There are very few MAC Collections that truly normally catch my eye. Well recently MAC released two collections that had me waiting up all night to get my hands on. By now this collection should be available in stores and online. If you MAC counter is sold out I recommend you check Nordstrom and Belk. I often find tons of MAC collection products still available on these sites.
A few weeks back I literally was up all night along with many other beauty lovers in the US. I had anticipated the release of this collection for over a year when it was first introduced. The collection I am talking about this the Sharon and Kelly Osborne collection! I have to say that I am so impressed with every piece I picked up! I also picked up a MAC brush and one of the new Mineralized Skin Finishes in Global Glow which are amazing!
So let’s talk about the Kelly Osborne Bloody Brilliant quad! This quad comes with four amazing shades that I feel will look great on brown eyes! It consists of Spoonful of Sugar (Sparkling Platium shade that is more of a frost finish), Tickety Boo (Plumy brown shade with a satin finish), Fizzy Rose (Soft lilac shade with a satin Finish) and Shadowy Lady-permanent shade (Blackened plum shade with matte finish). Overall I think my favorite shade from this palette is the shade Spoonful of sugar! I can’t get over the pigmentation of this color and how gorgeous it looks on the eyes!
So let’s talk about the Sharon Osborne Dutchess quad! This quad comes with four amazing shades that I feel will look great on all eyes! It consists of Femme Fatale (Golden Brown Satin finish), Embark-Permanent(Dark Reddish Brown matte finish), Sexy Eyes (Soft Warm Bronze Veluxe Pearl Finish) and Sweet Eyes (Light Golden Nude Veluxe Pearl finish). Overall I think my favorite shade from this palette is the shade Sweet Eyes! I can’t get over the pigmentation of this color and how gorgeous it looks on the eyes!
This is a brush that I have been looking at for a long time now. I personally love short handled brushes and have been on the market for a blush brush for some time now. I will say that this brush does shed somewhat but it is not enough to deter me from using it!
The blush I picked up is from the Sharon collection and is called Peaches and Cream. It is said to be a mid-tone rose color and a satin finish. However, I feel that this blush leans more pink toned than rose toned. The overall application of this blush is marvelous and I am so happy I picked it up. The Global Glow Mineralized Skinfinish in this collection is simply gorgeous! I find for medium to dark skin tones it is a great bronzer topper and highlighter, but if you are more fair this may look better as a bronzer like product.
Overall if you are able to get your hands on any of these products I highly recommend them. I am simply in love with everything I purchased from MAC for this collection. Have you picked up anything? What collections are you looking forward to?
Linking up with whitney!
Have a great weekend!
