Lash Primer? {Review}

Hope you all had a great weekend! This week I am having tons of product reviews here on the blog! There are many products I have been testing out for months that I need to share my thoughts on. So Review week here on the blog is going to kick off with a product that may be unknown to many of you!

Lash Primer may be a foreign term to some, but in the world of beauty it is quite common. For those like myself that love full on lashes, this may be something that interests you. A few months ago I was browsing my local ULTA, that had recently started carrying the brand IT Cosmetics. Sure there are tons of Lash Primers on the market, however, this one in particular interested me like no others.

The IT Cosmetics Tightline  Full Lash Length Black Primer with Peptide Enhancing Serum is exactly what it claims to be. It’s a black lash primer, that lengthens your lashes and tightlines. I found that this product takes a bit of time to get use to. The consistency of this primer is very liquid texture. I at first was not found of this due to it being a bit odd to use. However, after playing around with this I was easily able to get the hang of applying it. I sit the wand on my lash line and wiggle it upward for application. I will say that you need to note not to try to apply this like a mascara, because you may end up applying too much.

The pros of this product mainly for me have to do with the over all fuller appearance of my lash line. I fully believe that the way this product darkens my lash line overall gives off the appearance of  fuller lashes. This product also for me serves as a two-in-one. Due to the black color and “tightline” effect, it replaces the need to tightline my lash line, which I normally do by using a black khol liner in my upper waterline. I don’t find that this product irritates my eyes, nor does it wear off or smudge throughout the day. I find that keeping liner on my upper and lower water line is quite the task. 

By this product taking the place of lining my upper waterline I have half the battle. Regardless if you are wanting to try this from pure curiosity or to actually try a black lash primer, I fully think this is one for you to try. I find that it consistently impresses me and often when I pair it with mascaras that I am not too thrilled about and am trying to use up. I mean look at my lashes! Don’t they look very full and long?
