As promised on Monday, today I am sharing a few things that I picked up during my Birthday shopping. First of all I would like to share what I picked up at Sephora and Estee Lauder. I couldn’t resist going into Sephora while at the Mall last weekend. I was super excited about picking up my Sephora beauty insider Birthday gift. I think what most intrigued me was seeing products that have been sold out online for months thanks to the lovely Jaclyn Hill influencing everyone to buy things. If you are unaware of who she is well then head over to her YouTube page. She is absolutely amazing! I would like to mention that the pictures in this post were taken with my ipad not my DSLR so the image quality is not what you normally see on my blog. I was not able to wait till I got home to swatch these so I decided to take the pictures on my ipad. Now on to the things I purchased as well as some Estee Lauder Free Gift with purchase items!
As you can see I did some major damage, but since I live so far away from a Sephora I can justify spending so much money. I was so excited to get my hands on a few of these products. Most of these minus the Estee Lauder Bronzer and Nars Duo are permanent collection items. The next two pictures show Estee Lauder Lipsticks that I receieved as part of my gift with purchase at Belk. I normally do not show these items, but since the lipsticks were so gorgeous. I have been wanting to try this lipstick formula for a long time now and was so excited to get my hands on these for free!
Have you ever just wanted to scream “Yes, Yes, Yes” when you see a product in store? Well that was me last week. This blush has been sold out for months on Sephora.com and when I saw it was in stock when I went to Sephora I just about died. I immediately grabbed it and I am simply obsessed with this color and can’t wait to get more of these blushes. They blend like a dream!
I have to say that after reading many reviews of Nars eye shadows I tend to not spend too much of my money of them due to them being rather hit and miss. However, when this duo was launched I couldn’t help but be drawn to it. I can’t tell you how amazing this duo is to be honest. There are not many products that blow my mind, but this duo is one. The eye shadows may look scary in the pan, but they are actually easy yo work with and simply gorgeous. I have never felt such buttery shadows that did not cause fall out. I have used this duo on a few days now and I am simply in love! This is a limited edition product, so if you are interested make sure you pick it up soon!
This product was also sold out online on Sephora for months, which to be honest drives me crazy. With summer here I love using cream blushes and topping them with powder to prolong the wear of my blush. I have oily skin and during the summer keeping makeup on my face is quite the task. The blush may look scary in the pan, but it blends like a dream and is 100% wearable! I can’t wait to pick up more of these blushes, I truly feel like they are a bargain for what you get!
I have to admit the reason I picked this up was due to my mom falling in love with the Lily Pultizer free gift with purchase bag. My mom is a bit of a bag lover so I decided looking at the contents in the bag it was worth it. I have been eyeing this bronzer since the collection released over a month ago. First of all the packaging is simply gorgeous! Next, I was in need of a darker bronzer for summer and feel in love with this one. It is a very smooth, not chalky bronzer that I feel has one amazing formula. I literally can’t get over how gorgeous it makes my skin look.
Shocked by all these goodies or craving more? Don’t worry this is only part one of my birthday haul! I have tons more to show you! Have you tried any of these? If so, what are your thoughts?
