Product Review: Goody QuikStyle & Arbonne Essentials

Happy Tuesday! So I was sitting at my desk last night wondering what I should write for Tuesday’s post. Well you see I have tons of new products that I continuously buy and forget to review. I literally could do a review every day for at least a year. Yes, I have more that 365 products that I should review? I know this is a bit absurd, but this is what happens when you are a beauty blogger. Well this post will reveal my thoughts on a product that was sent to me. You see about a week ago I was reading Bekah’s post about a recent voxbox. Well I had expressed to her that I wanted to try the hair brush that she received, because I had heard interesting things about it. So after I told her this she was sweet enough to send me one. I was a bit taken back and shocked, because this was something I did not expect. So when I opened the box I found that there were also two Arbonne products that I have been wanting to try. So here is what I received!

My first impression was that I was thinking the design may work pretty well. However, I did underestimate this one. You see I have long hair and it is pretty thick so it does take a while to dry. After 10 mins in the morning I still feel some parts underneath my hair are still damp. In this past this has frustrated me to no end. Well I can say that this situation has been corrected and I no longer have this issue. In fact using this brush has not only shortened my drying time, but it also helps my hair to dry more evenly. I no longer have go back through and dry parts of my hair. I also think that this helps the quality of my hair. There is nothing worse then when you are straightening your hair and hear the sizzle of wet hair running through the plates of my straightening iron. I am extremely impressed with this brush and recommend it. The only negative thing that I can say is that the little knobs tend to get out of alignment, but you can easily realign them in a few seconds.

Next I want to talk a bit about Arbonne Essentials Energy Fizz sticks. When I opened my box I noticed these little packets. I have heard about them from Bekah before, but have not gotten around to trying them. When I first read energy and the words dietary I immediately got excited. I mean with the work days that I have I need an extra boost to get through my workout. Well I can say that the pomegranate flavor is my favorite, but the citrus flavor is tasty as well. I was able to get 10 fl oz of water per half a packet, although Bekah instructed me that you added as much as you wish to get the taste the way you want it.

Do I recommend these? Yes I do! I can tell that I was able to get the energy boost I needed without having to drink something unpleasant. So what do I think you should do?
