Meet Brooke from Wide Open Spaces
About Me: I’m married. 5 years March 1st! Have one daughter named Madison. She’s going to be four in April. I’m an estimator for a printing company. I live in Indpls. I’m 27. I love to shop, write, organize things, surf the net, beauty products, Starbucks, Panera Bread and my blog.
Why I started blogging: I needed a way to be myself. I got lost being a wife, mom and employee that I had no outlet to express myself. I wanted to make new genuine friends without all the drama. I wanted to find other people who could relate to what I go through or what I like. I also love to write and read others posts as well.
Favorite thing to blog about: Birchbox and Ipsy! I love makeup and samples! Trying new things is awesome and who doesn’t love getting those cute packages in the mail! I also love WILW because I am addicted to Pinterest and it gives me a way to share my unique pins.
Best advice for new bloggers: write for yourself. Express yourself exactly the way you want to. Ask questions to fellow bloggy friends most of the time they will respond and are more than willing to help.
What’s your favorite thing about living in your state: There are lots of things to do and strolling the canal or the circle is breathtaking. We also have great restaurants! Plus who doesn’t love the Colts!!
Biggest resolution for 2013: only make an effort for people who make an effort for me. Fade out people who only want you when they want something. And to find out who my real friends are and only keep those around. Make new friends 😉 I’ve been hurt a lot in the friend dept so I felt that it was important to reevaluate who’s in my life.
