I apologize. I am so forgetful in remembering to post my ipsy bag reveals each month. I am often so busy that posting these slips my mind. So in the future I hope to be better at this. It’s not that I don’t like Ipsy, in fact getting my Ipsy bag is something I look forward to every month.
This month’s theme is Sensationally Sunkissed. Looking at the items in the bag, I feel that this name is quite appropriate in that there are product to leave you tan and your lips and cheeks kissable. I have to admit that the cookie cutter pink makeup bag this month was adorable. Receiving makeup bags each month is a big reason I chose this subscription service. I mean who doesn’t need more makeup bags? After all a girl can never have enough of them! Moral to the story this bag gets an A+. I am very curious as to if this bag is actually waterproof, because that would be amazing!
Diving into the bag. I saw a good mixture of products this month. I am most excited about the Hang Ten Dark Tanning oil! I am only a few shades darker than Casper at the moment, which is progress but hopefully this will help me get the summer glow I have been lusting for this year. Overall, I like this product and it smells amazing!
Elizabeth Mott is a brand that I have recently through Ipsy became interested in trying more products. I have to say tints and stains are not my thing, so I will be gifting this to someone. The overall size and shade of this product is great, and I feel that if was into tints and stains that I would love this. However, being my picky self, I am sure this is great just not for me.
Daily Moisturizers are products I use multiple times a day. Due to having a few open at the moment I am keeping the Befine Skin Care Daily Moisturizer I received, sealed due to it containing SPF. However, I am always looking for new moisturizers that won’t cause breakouts and will be trying this one. It is Allergen Free, Cruelty Free, Paraben Free and full of vegetarian Proteins. The ingredients look great in this one, so if you are looking for a daily Moisturizer then I recommend trying this one!
Pur Minerals is a brand I have actually tried before. This month I received the Pur Minerals Big Look Waterproof mascara with Argan oil. I really thought I was imagining things when I saw it contained Argan oil. Though this is a bit odd for a mascara, I thought it was rather interesting. Being that I have a few tubes of mascara open already, I am not going to open this one. Fun Fact is that you are suppose to throw away open mascaras after 3 months, however I normally keep mine past this date. I tend to keep mine up to six months due to my inability to leave them unopened. Should you experience eye irritations or the mascara smelling funky I suggest you toss it. However, should I try this mascara I will give you an update. I love the packaging and ingredients of this product nad can’t wait to try it. IF you are interested in purchasing this check the Shop This post portion of this post!
When I heard BareMinerals was going to be included in this month’s bag I was super excited. The anticipation of what this product would be was near insanity. Cream or powder playing through my mind more than ever. I was truly hoping for blush or eye shadow. Of course I was thinking powder due to the knowledge of this brand. However, I was super excited when I open my bag and found a cream eye shadow. Not just any cream eye shadow, but rather a 5-in-1 BB Advanced Cream shadow. It is suppose to last 12 hours so I will be testing this soon. I love the color and how pigmented this product is and can’t wait to pick up more colors! I highly recommend trying this! Check out the Shop This Post portion of this post to purchase this product.

I have to say I was very saddened when I saw I was not getting the blush this month in my bag. I am sort of a blush junkie and I was hoping to have it included in my bag. However, I was extremely happy with all of the other items in the bag. This month I feel they hit the nail on the head with all of these amazing products. I received 3 full sized products and 2 deluxe size samples.
Just in order I want to to run through these and give you my thoughts on them all. So to start let’s talk eyelashes. You see I am a bit of a fan of these for special occasions. Being that I have a big one next Tuesday I was so excited to see these. I must say that I browsed through all of their styles and the have a great selection for a very affordable price. I highly recommend these for everyone. These even include glue and are 100% human hair.
I am normally picky about facial cleansers, but I have heard great things about First Aid Beauty(FAB). FAB has been featured on many of the YouTube channels that I watch. I was so excited when I realized that I was getting the very product that I just heard one of my favorite YouTube Beauty Gurus raving about. I am loving this and I can see why the reviews are great for this cleanser. It gets off all of my makeup and leaves my skin feeling clean and refreshed. It has not caused any breakouts so I fully recommend this one.
Pop Beauty’s Plump Pout was one I was excited to see. I must say that this gloss is super pigmented and I find that it is not sticky at all. I love the colors that this comes in and I fully plan on purchasing more of this in the future. The color of this particular one is the most gorgeous pink I have ever seen. I highly recommend you checking it out.
Tini is a brand that recently I have been interested in. I have to say that I am obsessed with this shadow/base. They market it as a base and a shadow, which is extremely pigmented and long-wearing. I seriously love how creamy and pigmented this product is and found that it stays on my skin a long time. I have tried it as a base and topped my MAC Copper Sparkle over it, and the color was to die for. I mean seriously if you love copper colors then you must check out the shade spiced rum.
Zoya. Zoya. Zoya. I love this brand, but due to having an extreme amount of barely used polish as it is, I really wish they would stop sending me polish. I thought that I had made this clear and I really wished that I would have gotten the blush instead of the polish. Don’t get me wrong the formula and color are gorgeous, but I am just not one that loves getting nail polishes. Though these are amazing polishes and full size, I will be passing this along to someone else.
Overall, once again Ipsy hit it out of the park! I am so excited every month to get my glam bag and I truly feel that each bag just gets better. I love that your products come in such cute makeup bags, which I usually throw in my purse. I prefer getting my things more this way than in a simple box. Overall the products in this bag retail for: $70.99 and I paid $10. So I feel I came out for sure on top this time!
Have you tried Ipsy? If not try it out, I can say I have not once regretting subscribing to this box.
Here’s a list of products:
If you are not familiar with Ipsy, it is a monthly beauty subscription box/bag that runs $10 a month and I do believe if you buy a plan rather than month to month they cut you a deal. What I love about this is that I get a new usable makeup bag every month. You can click here to see more details!
I received a great rounded bunch of products in this bag that ranged from hair care to eye cream. I must admit I was overly excited about the proactive wipes, after doing some research I found that they would help face recent blemishes. I have used them and can see that they are working which is amazing! I have not used the leave-in conditioner yet, but I know that it is already amazing. I have been super impressed with the Lip Balm and Lip Balm. I must say that love the lip balm, I put it on at night ant it literally is still is on my lips the next morning.
As for the smooth shadow I have only swatched it and it was very pretty and very true to it’s name. Considering when I was looking up the retail prices that the lip balm was $12, this was over what I paid for the entire bag. Therefore, I truly feel that this month’s bag was an amazing deal! I am so pleased with the items I received this month I feel that it is the best bag so far and a great way to start 2014!

months ago I was weary as to if I should cancel my Birchbox to switch to Ipsy.
I limit myself to one makeup/beauty box subscription a month. I have to say
that this month’s bag design was my favorite of all. It had high hopes that
the insides would be just as amazing. Well I must say that the inside did not
disappoint. I am so glad that I am an Ipsy subscriber at this point. The
insides were filled with products that I would absolutely use. I have to say
that usually I only will use about 70% of the products sent, but this month I
have already used 90% of the products and loved them. There is only one product
that I am somewhat weary about this month, but looking at the other products, I
will be giving it a chance as well. So at this point you are probably wondering
what in the world I am raving about, well let’s take a look.
bag is gorgeous. If you are not a fan of purple then you may not like it, but I
feel that, it is the most sophisticated bag that I have been sent in the past.
My mom fell in love with the bag, but I refused to give in this time. I even
offered her my Laura Geller bag, but she respectful declined stating that Ipsy
had the better bag. As far as the products, this bag contained one product that
I have been dying to try. Urban Decay recently released their Revolution
lipstick line and the colors have been plaguing my mind since they released
them. I am not one that has to have high-end lipsticks, but I must say this is
one line that has captured my interest. To my surprise inside this bag included
a sample size of this lipstick in the shade Anarchy. Now this little tube packs
a punch. I have never seen a more pigmented lipstick ever, and the packaging is
simply gorgeous. All I have to say about this one is ..Ipsy you rock!
pixie brand for some time now. I will say that this is not my favorite mascara,
as I am quite partial to Benefit’s Bad Girl Lash right now. However, I am
liking it and I think that once it dries out a bit that I will like it more.
Next, the Chella brand is one that I have been loving for a few months now. I
was randomly introduced to this brand a few months back by Ipsy. This month
they included the Chella Dazzleing Dark Brown EyeBrow color. Well considering I
have been rocking some strong brows lately I was rather excited about this
pencil. I really like the color and the twist up feature.
scrub did scare me a bit. It is a dark black looking color, but I have to say
that I really like it. Once I was able to get past the dark color and use it, I
found that it was a great at exfoliating my skin. The product that I was not as excited about
what the color is simply gorgeous. It reminds me a lot of the Mac Pigment in
Tan. I think that it would be a great one to mix with your foundation or use as
a eye shadow. This color gives the skin a true bronze, yet luminous glow.
that any doubts as to if this service is worth it have been squashed at this
point. I hope that you all received amazing glam bags this month!
