Well, I’m back! What a weekend for real. I had so much fun on this little business trip. I met some amazing people and visited with friends. The only drama that occurred was that on the way down the GPS on my new phone was not working. Thank goodness that I was able to find exit numbers on Google for the hotel. I am fine with following road signs on the interstate, but when it comes to taking exits and knowing which way to go off the interstate I depend on my GPS. It seriously would load the route and then stall and say lost signal. Which this was in no way possible since I had full service. Anyways we did fine our way down and made it safely. Any suggestions on how to fix this? I depend on the GPS on my phone and absolutely can’t have this!
Though we were pretty busy we did have a few minutes to snap some picture of Saint Augustine, FL. My mom took these on her phone, and I admit her camera totally trumps the one on my phone.
This turtle played hide and go seek with us for a while as we stood there waiting on him to surface. He seriously had the prettiest coloring and was absolutely beautiful. The water was a beautiful blue green color and much prettier than what we are use to farther north.
In the marina we also found Ghost boat tours and pirate ships which looked super intriguing. Next time we are down in Saint Augustine, I plan on going on one of these little adventures!
Also among many changes in my life, I have been really wanting to change my hair up now that it is getting longer. Have you heard of the Balayage hair trend? It’s all the hype right now and I find this trend to look amazing on women with longer hair. I love adding a little something extra to my hair and I am about positive that when my hair grows out a bit more, that I will change the color to look like this! Pretty right?
Regardless, this was a great adventure and I was so happy I was able to go. I love meeting new people and this was one great networking experience. What did you do this weekend? Any adventures?
